RAISIN

is a Yorkshire Terrier born in 2008. She was adopted from a neglected household within the first 2 years of her life, previously confined to a 2x4 feet cage. Her previous owner bought her on a whim and due this owner’s work schedule, Raisin was never washed and never walked. When Raisin first arrived in her new home, she was showered her 3 times in a row, leaving the bath water gunky and brown every subsequent time, but this is when Raisin’s life would turn for the better. She eventually had 6 puppies with Nippy the dog that welcomed her in her new home. When pregnant, Raisin’s new owners would make her a seafood stew, with rice and chicken to nurse her to health. Through the years, Raisin has been spoiled and deeply loved, learning to trust and be happy again. Her trademark move is to get down on her front paws while wiggling her hind. Raisin is now in her senior years, unable to play fetch, tug of war, or even sit, but she still loves licking and cuddling.
