The glamour of flashes, shutter snapping, studio sets, and assistants on my shoots can feel like what leads to the finished product, but before and after photos tell a different story. Post production is when the actual magic happens.
With the advent of quick filters on our smart phones photo editing seems like an afterthought, but a quick zoom will make evident the quality degradation of details and color, thus rendering the images unusable for prints, albums, or 4k screens.
With years of post production experience, I’ve come to appreciate the quality of premium editing. A half hour shoot can lead to a 10 hour editing session. This labor intensive work is one of the barriers between amateurs and high caliber professionals.
My post production process takes the raw data of a photo and transforms it to tell a more visually and impactful story.

Understanding how to judge photos and select them based on foresight and asthetic vision in a given time frame can seem daunting, but having work as an in-house professional photographer I have culled through millions of photos and will deliver yours in a timely manner.

I approach pets the same why I do for weddings or high fashion. People want to look their best and these pets deserve to look their best too. Understanding what it means to touch up an animal took years of experience for me. Sometimes it means cleaning up details, other times its putting on a few pounds for the animal to seem cuddlier.

Your photos may look great on the phone or computer but are they edited with perfection in mind for the home gallery?
Most modern day phone photo editing takes mere minutes and maybe seconds with filters, but how does that image look when blown up to a 60” x 40” print? Would the print hold the detail and quality one would expect from a fine art exhibit?
My lengthy editing period is proceeded with printing in mind. Final images can range up to 1 gig (roughly 300 songs on your phone) and depending on image can maintain incredible detail for closer viewing and inspection.
