Tunnel View

Made famous by legendary photographer Ansel Adams, this view from Yosemite has been iconic since 1933, but rarely has it been photographed like this. It was a cloudy winter day with snow battering the weeks before. The popular and often crowded park was closed due to flooding but there I was, camping in the snow in a wonderland where I had nature to myself. The fog lingered and flowed through the valley like a river. The moon casted a soft glow with the thick clouds as nature’s softbox. This was magic.
